ABOUT THE BOOK

BEACH DETECTIVE:
EXPLODING SURFBOARD

A tidal wave of murder, mystery, money, mayhem

A surfboard explodes right in front of Harry Lido, a Redondo Beach, California-based private investigator. Harry didn't realize that the incident would turn into his biggest case yet, putting himself and those closest to him in life or death jeopardy.

Unfortunately for this young detective, his search for the criminals and the truth did not put him in the good graces of the police department; just the opposite.

Even being an amateur magician can't help him get out of all his scrapes.

Will he wipe out?

Praise:

"I think it's wonderful. A+++. A great, masterful job."

- Bruce Shelly, TV Screenwriter (Matlock, CHiPs, Fantasy Island, Eight is Enough, Wonder Woman, Six Million Dollar Man, Happy Days, M*A*S*H)

"Methodical, yet whimsical approach to each case gives the reader the sense that this guy is definitely going to get to the bottom of everything; and still have time to have a little fun on the side. It's a great read!"

- Larry Underwood, author of Life Under the Corporate Microscope

"Fuld's second Harry Lido mystery begins with a bang as a surfer wipes out only to see his prototype 3-D-printed surfboard explode...Fuld knows the surfer milieu well, and a millennial detective is an intriguing hook. Incidents in the book come in perfect waves."

- Kirkus Reviews

"In the style of early gum-shoe writers like Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett. The main character Harry Lido reminiscent of Philip Marlowe and Sam Spade...only young, and new to the game."

- T. Dineen, producer, director
